Job summary

S.N.G HEALTHCARE LIMITED in Totton is seeking an experienced Children's Support Worker for a residential home in Hedge End, supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and autism.

You will provide a safe, nurturing, therapeutic environment, helping with emotional, social and educational development, promoting independence and positive outcomes, while upholding Ofsted standards and the company values.

Qualifications

• A positive, caring and compassionate approach to supporting children and young people.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A motivated, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 6 months' experience supporting children and young people.
• Good IT skills.
• Willingness to complete the Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare within two years of employment (if not already achieved).
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references in line with safer recruitment requirements.
