Job summary

S.N.G Healthcare Group LTD is seeking an experienced Children's Support Worker to join a residential home in Hedge End. You will support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and autism, providing a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment to help them thrive.

The role involves promoting emotional, social and educational development, encouraging independence and positive outcomes, and working closely with colleagues and external professionals to deliver

Qualifications

• GCSE C/4 or above in Maths and English.
• Minimum 6 months' experience supporting children and young people.
• Willingness to complete Level 4 Diploma within two years of employment.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for children and young people.
• Support emotional, social and educational development while encouraging independence and positive outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to deliver person-centred support in line with Ofsted standards.
