We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the opening of our new children’s home in Keighley. The ideal candidate embodies resilience, empathy, and a strong commitment to positive impact. As a role model and mentor, you will be a vital part of the child's support system, providing guidance and care to help them thrive. Steps for Tomorrow, our new children’s home in Keighley, opening in July, will care for 2 children aged 6-11 with social and emotional challenges, including past experiences of abuse, neglect, or exclusion.
Our staff provide care, support, and interventions to help each child and their family or caregivers engage, heal, and thrive. The goal is to facilitate placement into foster care or return to their family, promoting confidence, positive mental health, and well-being, without stigma.
Salary: £28,265 – £29,674, plus pension and other benefits, depending on qualifications and experience. The role includes "sleep-in" payments, which can add approximately £4,000 annually if eight sleep-ins are completed per month.
Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours/week). Part-time and bank work are also available.
