Job summary

Silver Birch Care Holdings is seeking a Waking Night Residential Care Worker to support young people at The Beeches UK. The role involves creating a warm, safe environment and helping with daily routines, records, and care plans.

You will build strong relationships, promote independence, and contribute to emotional wellbeing. A Level 3 qualification or willingness to pursue is preferred, with a full UK driving licence being an advantage.

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

Location:The Beeches UK

Hours:40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

Salary:£28,121 per annum

Sleep-in Pay:Up to £700 per month (dependent on sleep-ins worked)

Overtime:Paid at time and a quarter (x1.25) once the minimum 40 hours are worked

About the Role

As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment
• Building positive relationships with young people
• Supporting care plans and daily routines
• Maintaining accurate records and reports
• Promoting independence and emotional wellbeing

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children and young people (preferred)
• A genuine passion for supporting and caring for young people
• Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards)
• A positive, resilient, and team-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
