Job summary

Waking Night - Residential Care Worker (Part-Time) at Silver Birch Care Holdings provides night-time support to children and young people in our residential services. The role is 30 hours per week, including weekends, with a focus on safety, stability, and positive outcomes.

You will support care plans, build positive relationships, keep clear records, promote independence and wellbeing, and work as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people preferred.
• Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards).
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

About the Role

As a Waking Night - Residential Care Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment

• Supporting care plans and daily routines
• Maintaining accurate records and reports
• Promoting independence and emotional wellbeing

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children and young people (preferred)
• A genuine passion for supporting and caring for young people
• Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards)
