Job summary

Storyy is seeking a Residential Care Worker in Reading to provide high standards of nurturing care to children and young people aged 8 to 16 who have experienced trauma. The role requires working full-time (40 hours per week) and offers a salary of £26,500 per annum, plus additional allowances.

Responsibilities include supporting emotional and behavioral needs, promoting health and well-being, and ensuring safety through compliance with relevant safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in care for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
• Ability to use therapeutic parenting techniques.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding policies.
