Job summary

ROC Northwest is recruiting a Residential Support Worker to help look after young people in a farm-house style setting. You will support daily routines, assist with school mornings, meals, and plan engaging activities to foster growth and safety.

Applicants should have a UK manual driving licence, be comfortable with sleep-in duties, and be motivated to support vulnerable children’s development in a nurturing home environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3/4 qualification in Children's Residential Care.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Sleep-ins paid as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines (school/college mornings, meals, day plans).
• Keep care plans up to date and reflect feedback from children.
• Work as part of a team and provide emotional support to the young people.
• Build trusting relationships and promote individuality in each child.
• Participate in activities and excursions with the service users.
