Job summary

Silver Birch Care Holdings is seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Care Worker to join The Beeches UK. This full‑time role covers 40 hours per week, including sleep‑ins and weekends, with a salary of £27,497 per annum plus sleep‑in pay up to £700 per month.

You will support young people in daily living, helping them build confidence, independence and essential life skills, while assisting with care plans and recording accurate reports. Overtime is paid at time and a quarter after 40 hours.

• Experience working with children and young people is preferred.
• Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards).

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

Location: The Beeches UK

Hours: 40 hours per week (including sleep-ins, weekends, and shifts)

Salary: £27,497 per annum

Sleep-in Pay: Up to £700 per month (dependent on sleep- ins worked)

Overtime: Paid at time and a quarter (x1.25) once the minimum 40 hours are worked

About the Role

As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children and young people (preferred)
• A genuine passion for supporting and caring for young people
• Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards)
• A positive, resilient, and team-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
