Care In Mind is seeking a part-time Healthcare Support Worker for a Leeds-based home focusing on eating disorders. You will assist young people aged 16-30, promoting independence, supporting education, and maintaining daily routines.

Training is provided, with opportunities for career development in a supportive environment. The role includes meal support, documentation, and monitoring health needs, with a focus on compassionate care and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Attend training on weekdays.
• Strong written communication to write basic reports and records.
• IT skills including completing forms, using an online care system, and writing emails.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Maintain professional working boundaries and composure in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Update online care records and document medication administration.
• Support independence by helping with education, household tasks and life skills.
• Help manage incidents and self-harm risk, with full training provided.
• Support transition to independence, including education routes and transport.
• Promote safe and homely environment in the care home.
