Job summary

Cambian Group Plc is seeking a Children’s Residential Worker for our Goole location to support young people aged 11–18 with daily routines, activities and emotional support in a safe, caring home environment.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; the role includes using electronic care records and regular supervision. A sleep-in bonus is included and you will join a supportive team committed to positive outcomes.

Children’s Residential Worker – Child Sexual Exploitation

Location: Goole

Pay: £27,435 to £28,724 + £3,000 sleep-in bonus (annual average)

What You’ll Do

• As a Children’s support worker you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
• New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people’s records accurately. Experience with ClearCare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. However, all staff are expected to confidently use digital systems as part of their day-to-day role.
