Cambian Group Plc is seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Worker (Child Sexual Exploitation) at a four‑bed home near Shrewsbury. You will support young people aged 8–18 with daily routines, education preparation, activities, and emotional care in a warm, home-like setting.

Role involves documenting care records, using digital systems, and collaborating with a trained team. A sleep‑in bonus is included; extensive induction and ongoing development are provided.

Salary:£27,435to £28,724+ £3,000 sleep-in bonus (annual average)

What You’ll Do

As a Children’s support worker you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.

Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.

Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.

Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.

Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people’s records accurately. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. However, all staff are expected to confidently use digital systems as part of their day-to-day role.

At our home, we are strong advocates for our young people. We work closely with them to build confidence, develop life skills, and empower them to reach their full potential. Since the home opened in March 2025, we’ve witnessed remarkable growth and achievements, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress they’ve made. Their journeys fill us with hope, pride, and a deep sense of purpose.
