We’re seeking Residential Care Workers to join our inspiring team supporting our students (aged 9-25) to develop their independent living skills, whilst supporting their education.
Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Do you want a varied and rewarding job where you’ll also be getting out and about planning and organising social activities locally and further afield?
No experience is necessary. We’ll provide full training, including British Sign Language (BSL) training.
We’re seeking Residential Care Workers to support our students at either our new adult residential centre or our on-site residential flats at the academy. Both are based in Exmouth, just a few minutes walk from the beach.
Every day as a Residential Care Worker is different. You’ll support our young people who live in our Academy Residential Home to develop their independent living skills and organise social activities, such as trips to the local community, beach, cinema, or bowling, and further afield. Our students spend their days in our School or College, with some undertaking work placements or qualifications elsewhere, before returning to our residential flats. The shift pattern is outside of ‘school hours’.
