Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and maintaining residents’ personal hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers and daily living activities.
• Prepare and cook meals and assist with eating and drinking where required.
• Carry out household duties, including cleaning, laundry and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Promote residents’ dignity, independence, comfort and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Reporting any changes in residents’ health or wellbeing.
• Supporting medication administration if trained and authorised.
• Working as part of a team to provide high-quality, person-centred care.
