An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Residential Service Manager to oversee operations at an exceptional residential care home in Bromyard, Herefordshire. This facility, one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, is a single-storey building offering up to 20 residential places for dementia, residential, respite, and disability care.

Requirements:

• NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement evidence-based individualised care packages, therapeutic interventions, and activity programmes.
• Lead and supervise support and nursing teams to deliver person-centred care, ensuring clinical governance and staff development.
• Understand the disabilities, health, and social care needs of service users, assisting those with mobility or continence needs using appropriate aids and equipment.
• Ensure personal hygiene needs are met with appropriate care and support.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Registration with CIW.
• Caring and compassionate nature.
• Experience managing a similar-sized service and client group.
• Effective communication skills with service users, families, and colleagues.
