Job summary

Riverside Harbour Place in Workington is seeking a Care Assistant to join our team on a permanent, 30-hour week basis. You will provide personal care to residents, help with daily living tasks, and work within a compassionate team to maintain quality of life for residents.

We welcome applicants for an open day on 7 October 2026, 10:00am–3:00pm at Harbour Place. Please bring evidence of right to work and two proofs of address if you attend.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer focused residential care.
• Awareness of housing and Health and Safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and lone working.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in line with support plans.
• Maintain accurate records of care and medication support.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and daily living activities as required.
• Support residents to participate in activities and maintain dignity and independence.
