Job summary

Hunter Dunning is seeking an Architect for an established Winchester practice to work on bespoke private residential designs. You’ll contribute across all RIBA stages, from concept through construction documentation, taking design responsibility for high quality homes.

The role requires at least three years’ UK-based experience, strong knowledge of UK planning and building regulations, and proficiency in ArchiCAD or willingness to learn. Flexible working available.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of professional experience within architectural practice delivering UK based projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning systems, building regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Proven ability to produce technical detailing for residential or similar project types.
• Competent in ArchiCAD, or willingness to learn through structured training.
• Experience delivering bespoke residential and contextual design projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke private residential design across all RIBA stages.
• Involvement across concept, detailed design, planning submissions, and construction documentation.
• Take design responsibility on high-quality residential projects.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure regulatory compliance and feasibility.
