Job summary

Pharmacyupdate is seeking Adult Support Workers for temporary positions in residential settings around BN15 in West Sussex. You will support adults with learning difficulties and autism, delivering compassionate, person-centred care in a supportive environment.

Flexible shift patterns including long-day and night shifts, with part-time or full-time hours available; hourly rate starting at £13.68 with increases based on shifts allocated.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with adults with learning difficulties and autism.
• Ability to provide compassionate, person-centred support in a residential setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with service users.
• Flexibility to work varied shift patterns, including nights and long-day shifts.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing and independence of the people you support.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Current DBS clearance or willingness to undergo DBS screening.
• First Aid at Work or Health and Safety First Aid certification is desirable.
