Job summary

First for Support LTD. is seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our temporary staffing team across Hampshire and neighbouring areas. You will support adults in residential services and supported living settings, promoting independence, dignity and choice while enjoying weekly pay and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Care or Support Worker role.
• Experience supporting adults with a range of complex needs including dementia, learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic about making a positive difference.
• Reliable and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred support.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Supporting daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning and shopping.
• Encouraging independence and promoting choice.
• Helping individuals access the local community, appointments and social activities.
• Administering or assisting with medication per training and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns.
• Promoting safeguarding, dignity, equality and inclusion at all times.
