Job summary

Wood Care Group is seeking an Activities & Wellbeing Co-Ordinator to plan and deliver meaningful activities, sessions and events for residents, enhancing their quality of life. The role focuses on therapeutic and recreational activities, and supporting family interactions within a caring, family-run environment.

We value kind, caring individuals with strong communication skills who can work collaboratively with residents, families and the management team to create a positive daily routine.

Qualifications

• Good communication with residents, families and management.
• Experience in a Care Home is desirable but not essential.
• Committed and organised approach.

Responsibilities

• Attend staff meetings.
• Maintain personal and professional development and participate in training.
• Safeguarding responsibilities and whistleblowing policies adherence.
• Provide evidence of any training not yet taken.
• Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation.
• Complete all training as determined by the home.
