Avery Healthcare Group are seeking a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Alice Court Care Home in Eastbourne. You will plan and deliver activities to support residents’ physical, mental and social wellbeing, while upholding privacy, dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate has experience with older people in residential or dementia settings, strong communication skills and a positive, caring attitude. DBS check funded; UK work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Experience with older people in residential or dementia care.
• Experience organising activities and events.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude toward older people and enriching activities.

Responsabilités

• Identify life histories, needs and preferences to develop detailed resident life stories.
• Plan a monthly wellbeing and activity plan and a weekly overview for the Home Manager.
• Arrange activities, events and outings involving staff, relatives and visitors.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and uphold a positive home image.
