Job summary

Cheltenham-based Resident Liaison Officer sought by a well-established social housing maintenance contractor, via Think Recruitment. The role focuses on supporting a planned kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programme, acting as the main point of contact for residents and ensuring they are informed and supported.

You will build relationships with tenants, arrange meetings, update on schedules, work with site teams to minimise disruption, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer or similar customer-facing role in social housing or construction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for residents before, during and after works.
• Build positive relationships with tenants, addressing questions or concerns.
• Arrange and attend resident meetings and property visits.
• Keep residents updated on programme schedules and changes.
• Work closely with site teams to minimise disruption and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Resolve complaints professionally and escalate issues where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and complete all relevant administration.
