Job summary

St Monica Trust is seeking a part-time Resident Support Assistant to provide housekeeping, catering and hospitality services in our care home in Scotland. The role operates 24 hours per week with alternating weekend duties and shift times 07:30 to 14:00, offering £13.48 per hour plus enhancements where applicable.

You will deliver a welcoming, person-centred service, maintain hygiene standards, and support residents through collaborative teamwork within a one-team environment.

Qualifications

• Confident with IT and standard office programs.
• Understanding of basic food preparation and cleaning techniques.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules.
• Knowledge of customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hospitality, housekeeping and catering to residents.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and infection control.
• Ensure room checks and laundry sorting.
• Prepare lounges as coffee/bar venues for residents and visitors.
• Collaborate with care home teams to meet resident needs.
