Job summary

HC-One is looking for an Activities Co-ordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities for Residents across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. The role focuses on creating meaningful social opportunities and supporting the Home Manager with events and daily activities.

You will bring experience working with vulnerable individuals, strong planning and IT skills, and a kind, communicative approach.

Qualifications

• Background working with vulnerable individuals
• Strong planning, organisational and IT skills
• Able to recognise safeguarding signs and attend safeguarding training
• Kind and effective communication with Residents and staff

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities that delight Residents
• Support the Home Manager to organise fundraising events
• Help Residents socialise more effectively and engage with hobbies
• Involve the care home team to participate in activities and time management
