Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business at a key customer site in Staffordshire. The role focuses on servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment, with a strong emphasis on uptime and service quality.

You will bring hands-on servicing or maintenance experience, electrical/mechanical/hydraulics skills and recognised engineering qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of forklift trucks or mobile plant machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and associated MHE to minimise downtime and ensure high service delivery.
• Work at a key customer site on full-time basis with adherence to safety and quality standards.

Job Title - Resident Engineer

Location - Stafford, Staffordshire

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer

• Full UK Driving License
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.
