Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd seeks a Resident Engineer for a leading materials handling company, based full-time at a key customer site in Stafford. You will service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and a range of MHE to minimise downtime and ensure excellent service delivery.

The role requires hands-on servicing or maintenance experience and a recognised engineering qualification, with a UK driving license preferred. Company training and pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial Vehicles.
• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE to minimise downtime.
• Ensure excellent service delivery at a key customer site.

Job Title - Resident Engineer

Location - Stafford, Staffordshire

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role:

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, based full-time at a key customer site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring minimal downtime and excellent service delivery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Resident Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.

Desirable Requirements of Resident Engineer:
