Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a dedicated Activities Coordinator to support residents at Westerlands Care Village, Brough. You will plan daily activities, coordinate outings, and provide companionship to residents with diverse age-related conditions and health needs.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a difference for residents.
• Experience organising activities in a care/home environment is advantageous.
• Good time keeping and the ability to prioritise tasks are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily activities to support residents' social, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
• Schedule trips and excursions based on residents' interests and hobbies.
• Provide friendship and companionship, and accompany residents on social outings or appointments.
• Organise and participate in fundraising activities.
• Arrange in-home entertainment such as musicians and artists.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
• Welcome family members and encourage participation in activities with loved ones.
