Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to join Virginia Water Care Home in Surrey. You will support dining services, assist residents with meals, and help maintain a welcoming, high-standard dining environment.

You should have good personal hygiene, be compassionate, and be prepared to obtain a basic Food Hygiene Certificate if you don't already hold one. DBS disclosure will be required and proof of eligibility to work in the UK must be provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene
• Having experience working in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel would be desirable
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents

Responsabilités

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining.
• Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables.
• Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of residents dietary requirements.
