Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Silvermere Care Home in Surrey. You will support dining service, help residents choose meals, and ensure front‑of‑house areas are clean and well-presented throughout the day.

You’ll work as part of a close-knit team in our luxury elder care setting, upholding high hygiene standards and responding compassionately to residents’ dietary needs. A DBS disclosure is required and the cost covered by Avery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with choosing meal options during dining.
• Ensure dining tables are set according to SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit are available in the bistro areas and replenished.
• Be aware of residents’ dietary requirements and respond with care.
