Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking a Dining Room Assistant to support our 24-hour residential and dementia care services across 26 care homes in England. You will prepare dining rooms, seat residents, serve meals, assist residents with eating, and keep dining and kitchen areas clean.

The role requires strong communication, food hygiene awareness, and prior service experience. UK-based applicants only; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Understanding of food hygiene importance
• Prior experience in front of house, kitchen or customer service (essential)

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining room for residents’ service
• Assist residents in finding a seat at dining tables
• Serve meals and respond to requests politely
• Assist residents who need help to eat or drink
• Undertake cleaning duties in kitchen and dining areas as required
