Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help maintain high standards of cleanliness across our care homes. You will clean residents’ rooms, lounges, and communal areas, perform damp dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and ensure bathrooms are hygienic.

The role requires the ability to document tasks, clear communication, and the capacity to work unsupervised. We offer a generous rewards package including 28 days of holiday, an overtime incentive, a company pension with up to 6% employer

Qualifications

• Ability to manage basic documentation e.g., cleaning schedules.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• The ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Regular cleaning of residents’ rooms.
• Regular cleaning of lounge and hallways, other communal areas and office areas.
• Damp dusting, mopping floors and vacuuming as necessary.
• Regular cleaning of bathrooms and toilets, including scrubbing and de-scaling baths and tiles, clearing plug holes and taps de-scaling showerheads, removing soap and cleaning around light switches and door handles etc.
