Job summary

Cheshire East Council is recruiting Social Care Assessors to undertake person-centred, strengths-based assessments in home, hospital or care home settings, aiming to improve resident outcomes across East Cheshire. The role offers exposure to learning and training opportunities and integrated working across Health and Social Care sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience with diverse customer groups.
• Experience of working with Health professionals.
• Experience supervising/mentoring trainee staff.
• Understanding of human development and crisis intervention.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation (NHS and Community Care Act).
