Job summary

Sycamore Hall Care Home, part of Hill Care Group, is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to design and deliver a diverse range of engaging activities for residents. You will collaborate with the Home Manager and care team to foster a warm, inclusive environment and actively contribute to fundraising and budget management for activities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering activities for older adults in care settings.
• Ability to engage families and residents in community activities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach.
• Experience in fundraising and budget management for activities is a plus.
• DBS check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and lead a varied programme of activities for residents.
• Engage residents, families and staff in community life and external outings.
• Collaborate with Home Manager and care team; maintain activity records.
• Supervise volunteers and junior staff involved in activities.
• Ensure activities align with Hill Care Group policies and safety guidelines.
