You'll play a vital part in fostering a vibrant, stimulating, and inclusive community, ensuring every day brings joy, connection, and purpose. If you thrive on making a tangible difference and bringing smiles to faces, we invite you to help us create a truly fulfilling environment for our residents.

What you'll bring

You may also accompany residents on external excursions, occasionally outside standard hours, and actively contribute to fundraising and budget management for activities.

  • Support & Development: Assist in supervising volunteers and junior staff members involved in activities, ensuring alignment with Hill Care Group policies. You'll also champion the home's positive image within the local community.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety policies, report any concerns, and ensure a safe environment for everyone. You'll also maintain confidentiality and support the overall smooth operation of Sycamore Hall Care Home.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older adults. You'll bring proven experience in developing and delivering a diverse range of engaging activities for various individual needs.

Your excellent communication and organisational skills will be key, alongside a proactive, creative, and friendly approach. You're a confident team player who can also work effectively on your own initiative, demonstrating flexibility in your routines.

Previous experience in a care setting and/or a qualification in remedial or occupational therapies would be highly beneficial.
