Silkwood Rose Care Home is looking for a creative, enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team and enhance residents' quality of life. You will plan and deliver engaging activities, lead group sessions and support one-to-one interactions, fostering wellbeing and social connection within the home.

Qualifications

• Experience planning activities and events for older adults.
• Experience working with residents in care settings preferred.
• Understanding of person-centred care and wellbeing.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of meaningful activities for residents.
• Create engaging group and one-to-one activities that promote wellbeing.
• Tailor activities to individual interests and backgrounds.
• Encourage residents to stay active and socially connected.
• Organise celebrations, outings and community-based activities.
• Build relationships with residents, families and volunteers.
• Support residents with dementia through person-centred activities.
• Maintain records of activities and participation.
• Contribute to newsletters and social media content.
• Work with the Home Manager to improve the activities programme.
• Ensure activities are delivered safely in line with H&S guidance.
