Essential: A full current valid driving licence (for manual vehicles) and recent driving experience with the ability to drive in a safe and appropriate manner.
Residential Services provides accommodation for around 8,500 University of Leeds students in self-catered and catered sites, both on and off campus. We also provide facilities for meetings and conferences. We are an innovative service with a clear vision to provide some of the country’s best student accommodation.
We are seeking an approachable, customer-focused individual to join our team. You will have significant experience working in a front-line customer service environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team. Your responsibilities include providing high-quality reception services, undertaking minor repair and maintenance tasks, conducting site audits, and supervising external contractors in line with Service Level Agreements.
Residence staff are required to provide a flexible service, working at various Residence locations to meet business needs. You will be based at one location but should be prepared to work at other sites as required. The role involves driving a Residential Services vehicle, so a full current valid driving licence (manual vehicles) and recent driving experience are necessary.
The standard shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off, with 10-hour shifts and a 1-hour unpaid break. The role also requires a Basic Disclosure Check.
