Job summary

Yugo is seeking a Residence Manager in Cardiff to lead our student spaces, coordinating sales, events, building management and services to deliver outstanding experiences for our residents. You will oversee a diverse team, ensure safety and compliance, and drive income targets while managing relationships with local universities and stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a hands-on approach to operations, budgeting, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with strong written and oral English.
• Passion for student housing and customer service excellence.
• Proven ability to manage resources and teams in hospitality or front-office settings.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and coaching ability.
• Strong administrative skills and proficiency with standard MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the front-office/hospitality team to ensure smooth operation.
• Oversee sales and marketing campaigns and manage the student lifecycle.
• Ensure health, safety, and compliance; coordinate team training.
• Manage incident response including outages and evacuations.
• Maintain high standards of property presentation and budget adherence.
