Job summary

Red Snapper Recruitment LTD is recruiting on behalf of a national charity in North London to appoint an experienced Resettlement Officer supporting people returning to the UK after overseas imprisonment. The role is office-based in London N4, with 35 hours per week, a temporary 2-month contract and potential extensions; an active Enhanced DBS is required.

You will assist clients with practical and emotional resettlement needs, coordinate with agencies and advocate for access to accommodation,

Qualifications

• Must have professional experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Experience in resettlement, probation, homelessness, substance misuse or criminal justice settings is preferred.
• Ability to work with multi-agency teams and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of vulnerable people returning to the UK after imprisonment overseas.
• Provide practical advice, guidance and emotional support for resettlement.
• Assist with accommodation, benefits, healthcare and access to services.
