Job summary

Browne Construction in London North/South is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day construction across clean water reservoirs and treatment works. You will supervise teams, monitor safety and quality, manage plant and materials, and maintain accurate site records to keep projects running smoothly.

The role requires reading and interpreting engineering drawings, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with method statements, risk assessments and permits.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising utilities projects, preferably water.
• Knowledge of reservoir maintenance and repair methods.
• Strong health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Clear communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities across reservoirs and treatment works.
• Lead briefings, coordinate subcontractors and supervise teams on site.
• Maintain accurate site records and manage plant and materials.
• Ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments and permits.
• Promote safety, teamwork and continuous improvement on site.
