Job summary

Millennium Gloucester Hotel London seeks a Reservations Supervisor to supervise the Individual Reservations team, ensuring procedures for information, rate quoting, chasing, credit, and deposits are followed. Coordinates plans to meet hotel sales targets and maximize revenue for the hotel.

The role requires leadership of a busy reservations desk, up-skilling staff, and maintaining knowledge of Millennium Hotels & Resorts products and services across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reservations and team supervision.
• Strong knowledge of hotel distribution and rate quoting processes.
• Ability to manage a busy reservations desk and interface with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Organize the daily tasks and brief the team accordingly to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known
• Sell the M&C products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques
• Promote the Hotel’s (and M&C generally) products and services
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about Millennium Gloucester and all M&C Hotels in your region
• Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls
• Suggest and execute action plans which increase reservation sales and associated business
• Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email
