Job summary

A leading independent restaurant and event venue is seeking a Head of Reservations, Sales and Events. The successful candidate will manage the reservations team, handle inquiries, and proactively develop sales revenue. Job description

Job Title: Head of Reservations, Sales and Events

Our client is an iconic independent restaurant and event venue offering exquisite food across two successful locations. The group is well-established in London and plans to expand their portfolio in the coming years. The successful candidate for the Head of Reservations, Sales and Events role can expect to be part of a stable and thriving operation.

Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday shifts
  • Starting salary of £50,000 per annum + bonus + commission
  • Bonus incentives paid twice yearly
  • 3% to 7% commission on organic sales (uncapped)
  • Located in Victoria, with easy commute from most London areas
  • Stable team and operation

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the restaurant/venue proudly as an ambassador
  • Support and train reservation team members for efficient call handling
  • Motivate and organize the team
  • Manage third-party inquiries
  • Handle reservation and event reports
  • Oversee Private Dining & Membership Management
  • Develop sales revenue proactively and reactively

Requirements:

  • Natural leadership with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with reservation systems such as Quadranet, OpenTable, Collins, or similar
  • Guest-focused, detail-oriented team player
  • Proactive, results-driven with the ability to maximize event and reservation inquiries
  • Ability to develop organic leads independently
  • Willingness to host events when needed
