As our first on the ground Researcher, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our product direction and ensuring we stay ahead of the competition, reporting directly into the VP Product based in London.

Day in the Life

• Conduct research to understand our market, users, and competitors, providing actionable insights to inform our roadmap and business strategy.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Leadership, and Design teams to ensure research aligns with our business goals and delivers real value.
• Plan and execute various research activities, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and competitive benchmarking.
• Translate your findings into clear, actionable reports to share across teams.
• Stay on top of industry trends to identify opportunities and risks in the recruitment technology space.
• Work in an agile, fast-paced environment where your insights will directly shape the future of SourceWhale.

Who You Are

• Curious and analytical, with a knack for uncovering insights from data and conversations.
• A clear communicator who can share complex findings in an engaging and accessible way.
• Passionate about technology, research, and helping teams build products that delight users.
• Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excited about collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful decisions.
• Ideally commutable to a London office 2x a week.

What Sets You Apart

• Research experience in a Recruitment Technology or B2B SaaS environment (user, market, or competitor research).
• Familiarity with a variety of research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, competitive benchmarking).
• A growth mindset, always eager to learn and improve.
