Job summary

Imperial College London in London is seeking an experienced Research Technician to join Prof Rakesh Heer's lab at Hammersmith Hospital. You will contribute to the TRANSFORM Discovery and National Prostate Cancer Bio-Digital Twin study, handling tissue and blood samples and supporting data capture and analysis.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will apply cell and molecular biology techniques, maintain strict quality control, and communicate effectively with colleagues to drive

Qualifications

• Experience handling human tissue and biospecimens (blood, urine, tissue).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of cell and molecular biology and histopathology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, store and dispatch tissue and blood samples.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of technicians, researchers and clinicians.
• Contribute to data collection/analysis and biospecimen handling in TRANSFORM study.
