Job summary

Imperial College London’s TRANSFORM team is seeking an experienced Research Technician to support collection, processing, storage and analysis of digital data and biospecimens for the national Prostate Cancer Bio-Digital Twin study. You will work within Prof Rakesh Heer’s lab, interacting with researchers and clinicians across Imperial and collaborates with external partners.

The role requires experience with human tissue handling, strong communication, and an ability to develop new approaches

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling human tissue (blood, urine, saliva, stool swabs & tissue)
  • Ability to develop/apply new concepts with minimal supervision
  • Flexible to adapt to a variable schedule

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to collection, processing, storage and analysis of digital data
  • Interact daily with lab members, researchers and clinicians
  • Support translational and discovery projects within TRANSFORM study
