Job summary

University of Cambridge, through Cambridge University Libraries and Archives, seeks a collaborative Research Support Librarian to support the School of Biological Sciences (SBS). The role focuses on guiding research lifecycles, promoting open research, and enhancing the impact of researchers’ work across Downing and West Cambridge sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of open research, scholarly communication and data management.
• Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience delivering teaching or training online and in person.
• Knowledge of academic information resources and STEM library services.
• Customer-focused with flexibility to work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver research support services tailored to SBS.
• Evaluate services using data-driven methods to identify needs.
• Lead targeted research skills training for SBS researchers.
• Develop the Libraries' digital presence via web pages and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.
