You will edit content, liaise with editors, and help train new editors.

Qualifications

• PhD in biological sciences required.
• Strong editing and fact-checking skills essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-round edits to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy.
• Copy-edit manuscripts for language and house style.
• Check factual content and raise queries with editors when needed.
• Review author responses to edits and editorial feedback.
• Support the peer review process, identify plagiarism and ethics issues.
• Assist in training new team members.
