Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain seeks a project-coordinator to sit within the Trust's small research team. You will help set up a portfolio of studies, manage expressions of interest, and run the AACCC capacity and capability process, coordinating sponsors, researchers and delivery teams to meet deadlines.

Hybrid working combines home and office; full-time 37.5 hours; part-time applications considered. Experience in NHS or similar project management or research roles, plus proficiency with data

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Experience of working in the NHS or a similar organisation in a project management or research capacity.
• Experience of using spreadsheets, databases and IT systems.
• Self-motivated, able to organise and plan own workload and meet deadlines, often in a pressurised environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the set-up of a portfolio of research studies running in the Trust
• Facilitate and/or project manage study set-up
• Manage expressions of interest
• Run the AACCC capacity and capability process
• Engage sponsors, researchers, clinicians and delivery teams so projects are approved, started and delivered on time
• Use data management tools to keep study information accurate and up to date
• Work with Trust colleagues and external study teams to bring research studies into practice
• Coordinate multiple projects to agreed deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Help ensure research projects are set up efficiently
