Job summary

Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Research Support Officer to join the Research Governance team. You will provide administrative support for governance, assist with study setup, approvals and management, and help maintain study records and databases.

The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload within a busy NHS environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality administrative support to the Research Governance function.
• Assist with set-up, approval and ongoing management of a portfolio of research studies.
• Coordinate governance processes and maintain accurate study records/databases.
• Act as a point of contact for research-related enquiries and support reporting and service improvements.
• Liaise with sponsors, universities, NIHR networks and external partners.
