Job summary

Mersey West Lancashire NHS Trust is seeking a Research Development and Innovation Project Support Officer to join the Research Team at Whiston Hospital.

Under minimal supervision you will administer day-to-day research study activities, support recruitment, prepare study documents for ethical and trust approvals, and coordinate meetings to ensure timely progress and data quality within an NHS setting.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE/NVQ3 or equivalent experience.
• NVQ/other relevant IT qualification.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact for queries relating to research studies and coordinate responses.
• Supervise the research administrative service and support the Research Management Team.
• Support recruitment for patients into research studies and prepare study documents for approvals.
• Coordinate meetings to plan study openings and manage internal approvals and data quality.
