About The Role

The Faculty Research Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Principal Investigators (PIs) and research teams across various projects in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences.

This role involves providing administrative, coordination, and communication support across multiple research initiatives.

As part of the Research Office, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, engaging with internal and external collaborators and adapting to the evolving needs of different research projects.

This position is advertised at 1 FTE, but we are also open to offering it at 0.8 FTE.

Our ideal candidate

We seek someone who can shape and streamline processes to ensure efficient project management, while being adaptable to the unique demands of each initiative.

The role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, creativity, and the ability to work independently.

As a Research Project Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our research environment and culture, gaining valuable experience working with diverse collaborators and contributing to our research success.

The role offers opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning, and involvement in a variety of exciting projects.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • First degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in administrative support or project coordination, including knowledge of budget and data management, ideally in a research or academic setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective with internal and external collaborators
  • Proactive, flexible, and capable of using initiative to solve problems and adapt to changing needs
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently when necessary
