Are you looking to develop your research skills in a fast-moving global business? We are seeking a Research Paralegal to join our global Research Services team in Manchester.

We require a methodical and analytical individual with excellent interpersonal skills to serve our internal clients. Previous administrative experience is beneficial.

Our Team

The Research Services department is a global team providing research support, producing legal and business information for internal and external clients, including horizon scanning and alerting products.

Our Opportunity

In this role, you will assist with researching, preparing, and publishing legal updates, legislative developments, and client profiles. The role involves understanding legal systems across jurisdictions and may include working with knowledge lawyers and preparing training materials.

Responsibilities
  1. Research and produce horizon scanning and legal updates.
  2. Profile clients and analyze legal developments relevant to their needs.
  3. Summarize and draft content in a timely manner.
  4. Support global research efforts and collaborate with other Research team members.
Requirements
  1. Educated to A-Level minimum; ideally a law degree or strong interest/experience in law.
  2. Understanding of basic legal principles ('black letter law') and awareness of legal trends.
  3. Methodical, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
